Join Bina007, Noah/Pops88, Paul/SerDinnerRoll, Zander/TheLordBaron, and Steven/SJLee as they cover Bran 1 from ADWD, Sam 1 from AFFC and Jon 2 from ADWD. These events take place on the 18th and then the 20th of February 300 AL. It’s also the first time we get what will often be the same events from two angles in the Jon and Sam chapters.

The podcast contains spoilers for all published works in ASOIAF but not for Game of Thrones.

This episode discusses the events of Sansa 4, Tyrion 8 and Sansa 5 – the Purple Wedding! The wedding of the century serves as the backdrop for the assassination of a young king. Complete with a mouthwatering feast, enough wine to sink a ship, vibrant outfits and the escape of a captive. We’ll be the Dontos to your Sansa as we whisk you away to Westeros.

The Vassals come together in Darth Vader’s pun palace to discuss the highs and lows of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In addition to Michal (inkasrain), Alexi (Czar Alexi), Paul (SerDinnerRoll), and Zach (Alias), Adam (drownedsnow), Zander (The Lord Baron), and Matt (Varley) all eventually show up to join the epic, nitpicky, and unrelievedly nerdy Star Wars fun.

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. Shine bright, you stars.

The epic linear re-read of A Song Of Ice and Fire gets to the half-way point of A Clash of Kings, as the vassals cover Cat 3, Cat 4, Sansa 3, and Jon 3 – or the death of Renly, Joffrey terrorising Sansa and Craster’s Keep. These events correspond to June 11th to 20th 299.

This podcast was instigated after the sad death of David Bowie earlier this year.

Everybody wants to be the Stones. Everyone wants to be cool like Keith Richards. But Bowie spoke for the misfits, outcasts, underdogs, nerds and bored-as-fuck suburban kids. He spoke for the sexually confused, the hopeless dreamers, the beautifully unique. Bowie told us it was ok to be different and no you weren’t alone and no you didn’t have to conform and that you too could be a hero.

Beautiful soul, rest in peace.
