Kinda messed up that you guys think it’s gross to think grief makes someone more attractive…
Tyrion recognizes that Sansa experiences grief because she actually loved her family (something most of Tyrion’s own family doesn’t do for him or each other). Tyrion wants to have a family that does actually love each other so he is finds Sansa more appealing.
