Once again, we re-read the chapters in linear, rather than published, order, so as to add a little novelty to proceedings. The chapters covered in this episode are Sansa 2, Davos 1, Tyrion 3, Arya 5 and Bran 2 from A Clash of Kings. They correspond to events from the 3rd to the 17th March 299.

As ever this podcast is dark and full of spoilers for all published works in George R R Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series but does NOT contain spoilers from HBO’s Game of Thrones.

The Vassals of Kingsgrave embarks on a new journey to read, discuss, and theorize at length on The Tales of Dunk and Egg stories written by George R.R. Martin in conjunction with the popular A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels.

The tales, set 100 years before the start of A Game of Thrones, tell the story of Dunk, a humble hedge knight from Flea Bottom, as he journeys throughout Westeros righting wrongs, getting into his own fair of trouble, and meeting men and women great and small, all with the help of his precocious squire, Egg.

Join Matt (Varley), Chance (Fire and Bud), Jeff (Jeff14), and Scott (ShaggyDog) for a discussion of the first novella in the series, The Hedge Knight.

It’s a beautiful country and seeing locations is a great motivation to get to otherwise quite obscure but lovely villages and parks. That said, it’s not yet very well set up to receive GoT tourism so this podcast aims to give you some pro-tips that we wish someone had told us before we’d set off!

VOK Wolfcast roster changes this year, with Dagos_Rivers (Glen) leading the pack and joined once again by Beric175 (Matthieu) – who mysteriously disappears half-way through the recording, and joined by (relative) newcomers: DarkSister24 (Claire) and ChurchofStarryWisdom (David). They review the launch episode of Season 6, of Game of Thrones; they discuss each location, and associated characters; provide their lemoncake scores and make some predictions of where the storylines are going.

The WolfCast discuss whether Season 6 will outperform Season 5, how long the show will last; are the writers eager to end the show, and if certain storylines *cough* Dorne *cough* will survive much longer.
