Dear Vassals,
Love you guys. So I think I have a notion as to who the High Sparrow might be. In one of Dany’s chapters in ADWD, Barristan Selmy talks of a landed knight that Dany’s mother was ‘smitten’ by after he crowns her queen of love and something in a tourney. After she wed Aerys, the knight put aside his lance and ‘became most pious’. He was only a landed knight, no one of consequence…until now! Eh…what do you guys think?
Hey Wilson, I always thought that knight was Bonifer Hasty who later, in the books, leads the holy hundred and takes possession of Harrenhall.
