The Vassals review Marvel’s latest release and discuss comic book to movie adaptations; the properties of yellow goo; why Ronan works and Malekith doesn’t; whether Gamorra’s change of heart is credible; and the attraction of marrying Thanos and becoming the Carmela Soprano of Space. The main review ends at 58m, after which we have a wider discussion of forthcoming Marvel releases and the patented VOK One Night, Marry, Yellow Goo game.

  1. If you guys want to see a terrible movie that Dave Bautista (aka Drax) was in, watch The Wrong Side of Town. It’s stars another wrestler named Rob Van Damn and Ja Rule and Omarion are also in it. Bautista is pretty much the only redeeming thing in the movie. After seeing him in that, I knew he could really hold himself on screen and not just in the ring. His character is totally different than Drax, and everything else about the movie is cringe worthy, but it’s worth checking out for a laugh.
